Thanks to an email to my 88-year-old dad from Odyssey Travels, we found ourselves aboard ABN Sukapha on the mighty, yet placid Brahmaputra. It was a wonderful way to wind down the end of 2022 and bond as a family. Impeccably organised by Aparna and her team, we spent 3 nights on the river. The cruise was primarily around Guwahati. There was an activity planned for each day that took us off the boat, but also gave us plenty of time to sit on the deck, play cards, read or gaze out on the majestic river. We got a glimpse of how silk is obtained from silkworms and woven into beautiful fabric, we saw the famous one-horned rhino and plenty of birds of Assam and enjoyed a barbecue and bonfire for Christmas dinner on one of the sandbanks that the Brahmaputra is known for. All in all, it was a great holiday and I highly recommend it.

Our week long adventure on the El Camino was one of the more memorable vacations we’ve been on. We usually do extensive research on trips we go on, but this one, we left entirely to you (Aparna) - because we were quite certain it would be perfect - and we were not wrong. From selecting members of the group at relatively equal energy levels, to picking overnight locations that had us walking in mouths wide open, to keeping track of eleven slightly free spirited people, you pulled it together marvelously. The background planning, before and after tripping and food and restaurant selections were meticulous, especially with varied food restrictions and occasional fussiness. The choice of trip, the path taken, and the guide chosen, all made for a vacation I could not have thought up. Look forward to more planned walking holidays with Odyssey Travels.

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Israel and Jordan Tour. It was, as always, well researched and planned. The representative of Odyssey Travels was very helpful and courteous throughout the tour. The guides both in Israel and Jordan were well chosen, who took into account the age group and interests of the members of the group. We thoroughly enjoyed our Japan Tour. It was well planned, well organised and well executed. You have mixed sight-seeing, shopping and leisure properly. The group was perfect and it was a fun to drink together at the dinner-time. We look forward to having this type of tours ranging from 8 to 15 days depending on the location.

This was my first vacation with a tour group. Though initially I was sceptical I was pleasantly surprised what a group tour can achieve. The tour was totally hassle free for us in the group but I am sure the organisers must have had a challenging time keeping so many different individuals happy and content. The itinerary was perfectly chosen blending the ancient and the modern and giving everyone some time for personal pursuits. The hotels were all excellent and the guides helped in demystifying Japan for us. What impressed me was the efforts taken by the group-in-charge to address last minute requests of individuals, all with a smile. I am eagerly looking forward to my next tour with Odyssey Tours.
