The Camino de Santiago de Compostela though known to be one of the oldest pilgrim routes in the world but in reality is so much more than just that. The Way of St James, as it is also known, is also a personal challenge and a journey of discovery for many. Unchanged for the last 100 years or more, this trip provides to you a journey that is a wonderful way to connect with the local ways and practices, an inspiring journey indeed.
We will be following the last 100 kms of the Camino Portugues from Tui to Santiago de Compostela. This is one of the easiest routes for beginners as it is mainly on flat land. The trip winds its way through woodlands, quaint villages, vineyards, farmlands and historic towns.
