Sapphire Shores

4 Days | 12 TO 15 November 2025 | 20 Guests

There’s a rhythm to Sri Lanka that lingers long after the red dust settles - a land of vivid contrasts, where jungle-clad mountains meet salt-sprayed shores, and ancient grace meets modern energy. For our circle of discerning women, this was more than a journey; it was a seamless dance between soul and senses.

Our time unfolded as a thoughtfully curated retreat, balancing warm island hospitality with deeply immersive experiences. This retreat was hosted at the Mosvold Villa, a charming boutique property in the coastal village of Ahangama. Overlooking the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, Mosvold Villa provided a relaxed, intimate setting for our guests who enjoyed having the entire villa to themselves with a complete buy-out for this retreat.

WOW Moments:

  • The Master’s Vision: A journey to Lunuganga, the country home of the legendary Geoffrey Bawa. Walking through his "garden of a thousand views," we didn't just see architecture; we experienced his philosophy of "Tropical Modernism" - where the boundaries between the indoors and the wild jungle simply dissolved. It was a masterclass in space, light, and intention.
  • The Emerald Hills: We wandered through heritage tea estates, where the air was cool and scented with the world’s finest leaves and there was a joy in walking among the vibrant green slopes.
  • The Ocean Sanctuary: The true "blue" heart of our trip was our private Yacht experience. Drifting along the southern coastline, with the wind in our hair and the horizon wide open, we shared stories over chilled wine, with music playing from the deck, far from the reach of the world.
  • The DJ Evenings: Those vibrant performances gave way to our own celebrations. Under the starlit Sri Lankan sky, our private DJ evenings turned the beach into a sanctuary of music and movement. We danced with a freedom that only comes when you are surrounded by women who truly see you.
  • The Artisan’s Touch: We immersed ourselves in a hands-on mask painting workshop, exploring the intricate artistry and symbolism of traditional Sanni and Raksha masks.
  • The Living Fort: We stepped back in time with a guided walk through the storied ramparts and cobbled streets of Galle Fort. Led by an archaeologist and cultural heritage expert, this experience brought alive layers of history, culture, and colonial legacy woven into its walls.

We left Sri Lanka with the scent of cinnamon on our skin, the beat of the drum in our hearts, and the enduring warmth of this circle.

  • Hampi

Medieval Majesty

3 Days | 10 TO 12 December 2024 | 36 Guests

There is a kind of magic in the air when a group of women steps into a landscape as timeless as the boulder-strewn hills of Hampi. It’s as if the ancient granite whispers its secrets, and in turn, we find the space to whisper our own.

Our journey through the ruins of Hampi wasn't just a tour of history; it was an immersion into a living heritage. From the rhythmic chanting echoing through the Virupaksha Temple to the quiet, shared awe as we navigated the intricate stone carvings of the Vitthala Temple, we didn't just see the past - we felt its pulse. This retreat was hosted at the magnificent Evolve Back Hampi - a palace resort inspired by the Vijayanagara architecture. Crossing the Tungabhadra to Anegundi, the "Old World" energy took hold. Here, time slowed to the pace of the river. We found ourselves tucked away in ancient courtyards, where the laughter of the group became the music of the afternoons.

WOW Moments:

  • The Sunsets: Whether perched atop Hemakuta Hill or watching the light fade over the boulders, the Hampi sky turned purple and gold, mirroring the quiet transformation happening within our circle.
  • The Symphony of the Ruins: From an unusual mixed-instrument performance including a private handpan session to raw, soulful performances of local artists, whose voices carried the weight of centuries-old folk traditions and ending with the grand finale - a breath taking crescendo with a private violin performance. As the notes soared toward the starlit sky, the music seemed to bridge the gap between the ancient stone and our modern hearts, leaving every one utterly spellbound. It was a meditative soundtrack to a collective "unplugging."
  • The Bonding: Beyond the monuments, the real "curation" was the camaraderie. Over candlelit dinners and tea on the boulders at sunset, strangers became friends. The ruins may be ancient, but the bonds built were entirely new.

Until the next horizon.

The River's Song

3 Days | 19 TO 21 November 2024 | 26 Guests

There is a quiet transformation that comes from surrendering to the flow of the Brahmaputra. On this mighty, ever-shifting river, guests didn’t just move through a landscape - they softened into it. The ladies stepped onto the deck as individuals and stepped off as a sisterhood, bound by the rhythm of the water. The days were a tapestry of golden light and emerald green, woven together by the vibrant spirit of Assam.

Assam Bengal Navigation's, ABN Charaidew II was the home for our group of enthusiastic ladies - exclusively chartered for this special retreat on the river. As we cruised through changing landscapes, the experience became a seamless blend of comfort, discovery, and quiet awe.

WOW Moments:

  • The Rhino Safari: The mist clung to the elephant grass as they entered the heart of Kaziranga. A view of the One-Horned Rhino emerge from the haze was a humbling reminder of nature’s raw power – the ladies watched breathless awe in the silence of the morning
  • The Emerald Slopes: Wandering through a heritage tea estate, breathing in the scent of the world’s finest leaves. We met the hands that harvest the gold of Assam, connecting with a tradition that is both delicate and resilient. The ladies also enjoyed the Bihu Rhyhtm to the rapid beat of the dhol and the joyous spirit of the local performers
  • The Sandbank Sanctuary: The crescendo of the journey was an evening that felt like a dream pulled from the river’s own memory. We disembarked onto an untouched sandbank - a temporary island of silver silt in the middle of the mighty river and enjoyed a BBQ dinner under the stars
  • The Bonding of the Current: Beyond the safaris and the ceremonies, it was the quiet hours on the sundeck that defined us. The conversations that flowed, the shared sunsets that needed no words, and the simple luxury of time
  • The emotional heart of our journey, however, beat strongest during our "Colours of the Sunset" evening. As the sky bled into gorgeous shades of violet, crimson, and orange - reflecting off the endless sandbars -we gathered for a moment of profound vulnerability. The ladies shared messages from their loved ones back home. Hearing those familiar voices amidst the vast isolation of the river brought them a bridge to their homes

We left the Brahmaputra with the silt of the river on our souls and the warmth of this sisterhood in our hearts. The river flows on, and so do we.

  • Mandu & Maheshwar

The Poetry of the Plateau

3 Days | 26 TO 28 November 2023 | 9 Guests

There is a haunting, cinematic beauty to Mandu & Maheshwar that stays in the heart long after the journey ends. It is a land of "Monsoon Palaces" and sacred currents - where the air is thick with the legends of poets and kings. For our small circle of women, this retreat was a step back into a refined, slower era of Indian history, where every meal was a ritual and every sunset a prayer. We began amidst the beautiful ruins of Mandu. Wandering through the vast, arched silence of the Jami Masjid and the romantic shadows of Roopmati’s Pavilion, we felt like taking a step back in time. In this city of stunning architecture and baobab trees, we didn't just walk through history; we breathed in the stories of a kingdom built for love and the arts.

WOW Moments:

  • Descending to the shores of the Narmada, the energy shifted from the stone to the stream. Our stay at the Ahilya Fort Hotel was more than a residency; it was an entry into a living heritage.
  • The Candlelit Current: One evening, we surrendered to the river. On a private, candlelit boat ride upon the Narmada, the flickering diyas mirrored the stars above, and the rhythmic sound of the oars became our collective meditation.
  • The dinner at the Boleya Noble garden was surrounded by the warmth of a historic home, we shared a special intimate dinner.
  • The emotional and sensory crescendo of our journey was our final lunch. We were hosted by a gentleman who didn't just cook; he resurrected the past. We sat down to an ancient meal meticulously recreated from the Ni’matnama (The Book of Delights). Tasting the complex, aromatic flavors of a 15th-century Sultan’s palate - prepared with the same obsession for detail that the ancients possessed - was a profound culinary journey. It was a final reminder that luxury, at its best, is the preservation of beauty across centuries.
  • The Bonding of the Fort: Beyond the forts and the finery, the real "curation" was the sisterhood. It was found in the quiet morning at the fort overlooking the ghats and the collective awe of the Narmada at dusk.

We look forward to helping you plan your private holidays, your way - crafted with immersive experiences and unforgettable memories.
